The Leadership Summit kicks off with a networking reception at the hotel, Thursday, April 3 at 5:00PM, followed by StrokeOnward’s Stroke Monologues presentation from 6:30-8:00PM. Educational programming will start Friday, April 4 at 8:00AM. See the full summit program below!

The primary focus of Aphasia Access is to increase participation in life for persons with aphasia and their care partners. The Aphasia Access Leadership Summit is specifically tailored for professionals who provide services for individuals with aphasia and their loved ones. Though the target audience of the Leadership Summit is professionals working with people with aphasia – we value and seek to include the perspectives of individuals with lived experience of aphasia. Because of this, we welcome accepted presenters who are people with aphasia or care partners to contact us via email to request a discounted registration rate. This discount offering recognizes: 1) the importance of including first person voices, 2) the financial burden professional conferences can present, and 3) the costs the organization incurs to host this event.
ASHA CEUs Credit (1.35 ASHA CEU’s Available)
ASHA CEU Credit is available to those who attend the full Leadership Summit. Partial credit is not available. Those interested in ASHA CEU Credit will need to complete an attendance confirmation and learning assessment.

Our sixth Aphasia Access Leadership Summit will take place in Pittsburgh, PA, April 3 – 5, 2025 at the Marriot City Center. This conference is gathering professionals in the trenches of helping people with aphasia navigate life. Professionals will have the opportunity to present their newfound ideas, research, and experiences.
