Join us for the Inaugural Virtual Aphasia Access Chautauqua!
~shuh-TAW-kwuh~
A Chautauqua is an educational gathering designed to inspire learning and community
dialogue by blending education, inspiration, and community exchange.
An online event for speech-language pathologists, researchers, professors, and allied professionals committed to the life participation approach (LPAA) in aphasia care, the Aphasia Access Chautauqua aims to blend evidence, professional reflection, and collaboration in a collegial setting designed to inspire, connect, and equip participants to make measurable impact in the lives of people with aphasia.
By attending the Chautauqua you will do the following:
1
Summarize key principles of the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia (LPAA) and their application across clinical, research, and educational settings.
2
Integrate evidence and professional reflection to inform person-centered, participation-focused aphasia care.
3
Apply ideas from Chautauqua sessions to enhance real-world impact, including improving participation, access, and quality of life for people living with aphasia.
